I survived my FIRST vendor Fair and then had another one last Sunday! I met a lot of nice people and made some good connections. I have to say, it is mentally draining! LOL All the pressure is on you. In the end, it was all worth it. Time to push through and prepare for the next show!
Lesson learned- I created many things for the past two shows that are "not my style." Pretty, but not me. It takes me so much longer to create a piece that is not me. Understand? However, most folks don't care for distressed goods and I LOVE IT! So, what to do? If I want to make money I need to make what the people want? If I want to be happy, make what I love? I guess I will ponder this for a bit. Any suggestions??
Have a great day and remember...MAKE GOOD CHOICES!
I love to scrap, then frame the page. It freezes that particular special moment in time.
There are so many snapshots in our lifetime. Sometimes when we are out as a family, and I do not have my camera, I close my eyes and take a snapshot with my mind. I call upon these "special snapshots" when I miss that particular time in my life. On those lucky days, when I have had my camera, I love to scrap that day, frame it and hang it up on the wall. Every so often, I take it down and replace it with another memory or a new adventure. I find such happiness and peace in placing my memories on paper...
